mY nEw rOoM
It had been 6 years since i moved into my current home and so, that was also the last time my family gave it a “pretty dose”. The living room, parent’s and brothers’ rooms were actually painted purple mist but the effect it came out was nearly white, no indications of purple in it. But the ceiling in the living was well-painted, dark blue with white fluffy clouds created by spraying white paint on it …
As for my room, i wanted it to be different from the other corners in the house, that’s why i had requested a baby blue colour for my room … But too bad i forgot to take a picture to show everyone the shade of blue i am refering to. Nevertheless i did took a picture of my room after MASSIVE clearing-up as shown below.
Since one week before, i had began to clear up my room to faciliate the re-painting work. But other than that, it was also to make space for my friends who were staying over for a Xmas c.u.m Boxing party …
As you know, clearing up was really a TOUGH task for me, especially when i had kept TONS of RUBBISH in my room…
Project “clear my room” at work …
After a night of work and some sleep until 9.30am, i woke up for some dim sum breakfast (yummilicious !!!) and began to start work again when i reached home. Here is what i had achieved after working till 7pm without stopping for rest …

Tried to protect my pretty nails with gloves cos’ i had just went for a manicure session with my mum few days ago. But it was useless even with the gloves as the wet paint sips into it … And after another round of using thinner to rub off the excessive paint from the doors and walls, the nail polish on my fingernails just got dissolved. In the end i got to say goodbye to them … But I WILL BE BACK with my D.I.Y nails after my whole room is done up soon …

But as you see, my room is still lacking some important stuff–curtains and of course a MIRROR !!! But that will wait until the curtain pole is fixed to showcase my lacy white curtains i brought from Ikea and spraying the blue frame of my old mirror to a shade called Duchess Gold and that will conclude the final touches to my room … So please wait patiently for the final revealation …
For now, i can only sleep on my bed, facing the curtain-less big windows and say
good night …
